Since this division represents the Spartans brigade, when I was requested to paint a mural for the 4-25 Brigade Spartans, my mind immediately went to an amazing composition centered on an incredible shield. The shield is covered in layers of rich green leaves that provide dramatic shadows. A spear, which stands for strength and unity, is used throughout the piece. "With shield or on it," the brigade's motto, is proudly displayed on a banner around the shield, signifying their unwavering bravery and devotion.
